Start The Countdown

So in these last days of the school year, I must apologize to my readers. I have been to lazy and neglected posting. As summer starts, I'll be on here a lot more.

Things have have remained relatively the same as the last time I posted. I still work at Limited and Krispy Kreme(for the moment.) I've got a week and a half of school left and I can't wait. I get to spend the rest of my night writing my creative writing essays, which should be a blast but if I get at least a B it'll be worth it.

Here's what I'm listening to at the moment-

1. Mos Def- Black On Both Sides (One of the best Hip-Hop albums ever. From production to lyrics to beats it's great.)

2. Interpol- Antics (I've had this for awhile, but recently got back in them.)

3. Nick Drake- Pink Moon (a real cooled out album given to me by a friend last month.)

All In Due Time

Alright, so it's been far to long since my last post and I apologize for that.

In the time since my last post, I've gotten a second job at Limited Too (A girl's clouthing store)as a stock guy. Now before you laugh, know this. First, I get to wear whatever I want, second I get to listen to my own music, third I only work with attractive women and lastly, I don't have to help any customers over deal with food.

Other than the next job, not to much else has happened. I am now, exactly a month away from my Japan trip and I am excited as ever. I'm starting to get things ready. Also, school is 3 weeks away from being out, so that makes me happy.

Here's some of the music, I'm currently listening to-

1. Morrissey- Ringleader Of The Tormentors
-I thought this album was pretty good and now I wanna go back and listen to my
other Morrisey albums.
2. The Noisettes- 3 Moods
-I just found out about them today in a magazine. This EP was very enjoyable and I
look forward to their full studio album.
3. The Beatles- Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band
-I got this at the library the other day and I really liked it. I still have many
more Beatles albums to collect.

In Waiting

So March is almost over and I count the day until summer. At the moment, I have numerous family members staying at my house and some in a hotel near by. My grandma, grandpa, aunt, 2 cousins, my uncle and his wife and my cousins girlfriend are all in Phoenix. Other than that, it's school and work as usual. It's the same old routine for about another month and a week, then I can relax.

Here's some of albums I'm listening to right now.

De La Soul- The Grind Date

Yeah Yeah Yeahs- Show Your Bones

Blur- Modern Life Is Rubbish

Madvillian- Madvilliany

Metric- Live It Out

The Rolling Stones- Beggars Banquet

V

Well it is 1:30 in the morning and I have to work in 6 1/2 hours, but I feel compelled to tell all who read about the movie I saw tonight. That movie was V For Vendetta. Only a few times a year, does a movie come out that gives me the kind of entertainment I recieved this evening. I thought the movie was great from start to finish. The acting, the characters, the dialouge, the story, all were good. Also, so much of what was portrayed in the movie is relevant to the times we live in. Now I know the basic plot frame for the movie is very similar to many other films and books, such as, 1984, Farenheit 451 and Equilibrium (another great movie)but regardless it conveyed a message that seems to be gaining in importance each day.

Anyways, I will let you see it for yourself.

If any of you see it, let me know what you think.

A week in March

Alright it has been all to long since my last post.

In the past week and half, I've had my 20th birthday, gone to Mexico and enjoyed my spring break. Things havent been to bad. Mexico was alright, but a few of the people I went with were a pain in the ass. My birthday was pretty good, its just crazy thinking that I'm now in my 20's, it still hasnt sunk in yet. As for spring break, well it has flown by and now I look forward to summer.

As for now I can't think of much else to put. Sorry for my half-assed post, but I can't think of to much else that would interest you folks (Brian and some times John, lol)

I shall return soon....
